Change of Plans
I was going to write a different entry for today, but with the news surronding the Phillies, I scrapped it. Congratulations to both Andrew Carpenter and David Herndon for making the Opening Day roster.
But more importantly, I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to the Lopes family. Davey Lopes’ brother Michael passed away after being involved in a fire Friday evening. Lopes has taken an indefinate leave of abscense from the team. No interim base coach has been named.
